NFL Super Bowl LVI Picks - Rams vs Bengals:

The Rams are clear favourites (1/2) on the money line and our NFL expert will be hoping for a Los Angeles victory after tipping the NFC West champions at 25/1 in September.

Sean McVay’s side have gone aggressive this year, making several high-profile trades in a bid to ‘win now’ and Super Bowl glory is now within touching distance.

With one of the fiercest defensive fronts in football, the Rams have the basis for Super Bowl success. As the old adage goes, ‘defence wins championships’.

On the other hand, we have the Bengals. Young and vibrant, Cincinnati are one of the most exciting and entertaining teams in the National Football League.

Quarterback Joe Burrow has taken his game to new heights in recent weeks and the Bengals receiving corps will be key to their chances of victory at Super Bowl LVI.

Cincinnati defied the odds to emerge victorious in the AFC Championship game but that was no fluke – the Bengals are in the Super Bowl on merit.

The NFC is stronger than the AFC and the Rams are in what is arguably the toughest division in football – with the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers also reaching the playoffs.

In addition, the Rams will be contesting Super Bowl LVI in their home stadium – and you’d imagine familiar surroundings will help to keep Los Angeles grounded.

NFL Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest sporting events of the year and neutrals will be hoping that the NFL betting showpiece lives up to the hype.

Los Angeles fell short on the big stage three years ago but the Rams will have learned a lot from that experience and they won’t want to be on the losing side again.

Will it be the Bengals or the Rams lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy on Sunday night? The heart wants Burrow to get it done but the head says LA will prove too strong.

Best Super Bowl Bets:

  • Rams (-3.5) to win – 17/20

  • Cooper Kupp over 8.5 receptions – 21/20

  • Under 47.5 points – 21/20

NFL Super Bowl Future Tip

The Kansas City Chiefs may prove a tough nut to crack in the AFC but the NFC looks wide open and it might be worth taking a chance on the LOS ANGELES RAMS.

Sean McVay’s side are an appealing price at 25/1 to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy this season but things might be about to fall into place for the NFC West giants.

Trading for Matthew Stafford was always going to be a bit of a risk but it is a high reward play if it pays off – and he could be the ideal fit in McVay’s scheme.

While the usual suspects are likely to feature prominently in the playoff shakeup, the Rams may be the team to watch as they look to secure a Super Bowl return.

NFL Team To Make The Playoffs

While some teams look certain to feature in the postseason once again, the ARIZONA CARDINALS (17/10) are tempting at a much bigger price.

Kliff Kingsbury really found his feet as an NFL head coach in 2020 and, along with young quarterback Kyler Murray, Arizona look set to improve again this year.

A favourable schedule lies ahead and a receiving corps of DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk and A.J. Green should make the Cardinals one of the most exciting teams in the league.

Arizona are in a tough division but the Cardinals finished 8-8 last season and a couple more wins should be enough to clinch a playoff berth.

NFL Comeback Player Of The Year Betting

While the obvious contender is Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, it may prove prudent to look at the AFC South for this award.

The Indianapolis Colts are built to challenge and former Philadelphia Eagles star CARSON WENTZ can lead Frank Reich’s team deep into the NFL playoffs.

Wentz was widely regarded as one of the top quarterbacks in the league just two years ago and, while 2020 was undoubtedly a disappointing campaign, he retains huge upside.

He looks to have adjusted quickly to life at Lucas Oil Stadium and could be overpriced at 10/1 if he recovers from surgery on a foot injury sustained earlier this summer.
